Poem - Legacy Of The Red Admiral

© 2005

He floats on a string of blue mist.
As high as his wings will take him.
Higher and higher
and higher still.
He hasn't caught on to his insignificance;
too small in a world too large.
Riding the swell,
he'll live and die with the rest.
But he will live gracefully.
